Quickie: Phatorn Dormitory

Like the title of this story, I made this in our free period in the library, so it's just gonna be a short story.
Or at least, I'll try.
Anyways:

Darkness was imminent.
No not THAT darkness. Just, night.
Evan Pyros knew he should be headed home, but what's the point of running away if you go back?
That place wasn't home. That place was what Hell would look like if it surfaced to the center of the earth.
"You ready?"
Avin Cole arrived. His ride out of here. He lived alone and he knew he'd be in peace.
"Just let me grab my stuff," He slung his backpack over his shoulder and prepared to leave.
It was either this, or he did what he never wanted to do again. Burn.
His name was Pyros for a reason. His family came from a long line Pyrokinetics. His father was a talented person, and he used his powers to help those in need. He wanted to be like him.
What a joke that was. Shouting and Shouting and fighting.
He wanted it to end.

They drove for what felt like 3 hours.
Was Avin's house really THAT far? No. Avin never planned on bringing him to his house.
But to his home.
A large, booming like school came into view.
"We're not in X-Men, are we?"
"Kinda like that."
This was a school alright. A dorm, maybe. The darkness loomed more as they entered. Evan produced a blue flame. That was how he differed from regular Pyrokinetics. His ability to use the sacred Blue Fire.
"This is our stop."

'Phatorn Dormitory.'
"Welcome to my home."
"Aren't you guys ripping off of X-Men?" Evan asked.
"You could say that, but really, this is just a school. You know, kinda like Sky High. But, we just teach you how to use your powers. Where you go after that is up to you. There are no heroes, or villains in this place. Just a place to learn. A place to blend."
A place to not feel like a freak.
With a heavy sigh, Evan Opened the doors.
Happy students flinging whatever power they have around flared around the school. Avin was right.
This is home.
And now, Evan WAS home.
